My Favorite Things
I like baseball, trees, and honeybees,
Drawing, writing, running,
Football games, good nicknames,
And I find a sunset stunning.
I like pizza. Bikes, and nature hikes,
Jazz, and rock, and hip-hop.
I like wearing shorts for backyard sports,
Barefoot or in flip-flops.
I like hearing jokes from older folks,
And chocolate with vanilla,
And seeing—right behind my sister—
A HUNGRY girl-eating gorilla!
